I hesitated to order this because I didn't want the additional depth (I carry my iPad mini in my purse), but thought it would work well when travelling as I will be in an area where the mini will be in an unlocked area and wanted to minimize the odds of it being stolen.
It is very cute and I get lots of compliments on it. If it could just be a little thinner I would be happy, but I really like it even as it is.

I love this mini-ipad case. Looks just like a notebook. After reading other reviews I knew it was the case for me. Loved all of the color choices. Got the magnets and the band.

I absolutely LOVE my new Portenzo Composition BookCase! I got all the bells and whistles. It literally looks like a book lying on the table, is very sturdy (I don't feel like I'm going to break it), and fits perfectly in my hand. The iPad mini is already lightweight and this cover doesn't stop that. I really like how easy it is to hold.

After reading everyone's reviews, I decided to purchase this iPad case and I am completely satisfied with it. It's incredible. The craftsmanship is wonderful. I love how this is disguised as a notebook and the product stays put in the case. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an awesome case for your iPad, look no more. I bought the composition notebook cover for my iPad mini and could not be happier with my decision. The quality is even better than it looks in the pictures and it even feels like the real composition pads do to the touch. The iPad fits inside nicely and the wood casing is very sturdy. I am in college now so I bring this around with me every where and after a few weeks of classes people are just starting to compliment me on the case because they haven't been able to realize its an iPad case and not the actual notebook! Honestly, the cool factor of this case is just awesome, and on top of it all it's made right here in the good old U.S.A. which makes it even cooler. Like I said, if you're looking for an awesome, original, and practical case for your iPad, look no more.

I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. Not just because of the composition look, which appeals oh, so much to the writer in me, but also because this case works so well. The magnetic closure, the intellistand, the elastic strap, everything. This is seriously the best case I've ever seen and I'm so happy with it, I've come pretty darn close to accosting strangers on the street to say, "Hey! Check out my awesome case for my iPad Mini!!"

I love my new cover. It looks like a composition book I used when I was in grade school. If I left my mini IPad on the table no one would know. They would think its a notebook.
It's well made and protects your IPad. I'm very pleased with the design, sturdiness and the feedback I'm getting from friends.

Despite the price and sight unseen factors, I decided to live faithfully and purchase a Portenzo composition notebook for my ipad mini. First, the construction criticisms. For the price, a screen protector for the screen itself should be included. Second, instructions would be nice as well. While one can 'figure it out', it would be preferable to have instructions for set up and use so that you don't feel like you might 'break it' in attempting to set up the intellistand. Those two items excluded, WOW!!! Well worth the price! Highly functional, innovative, and excellent quality.

I own the top of the line, all the bells and whistles, Composition style case for my iPad mini. I chose the red interior with the red strap which I love because red is my favorite color. The case looks awesome but equally important is its sturdiness which fiercely protects my tablet. My only issue with my case is because I have the stylus tucked inside the case, even though I have the magnet closure too, it doesn't really seem to close with the stylus in place. Thankfully I have both the magnet and the strap closure but I really would like the book to shut via magnet when I want to set it down momentarily. Other than that, this case is stellar!

My daughter picked this out for me for Christnas (I am a case diva ) and I love it !! My "animal" box case was on the shelf immediately this is definitely a keeper. It looks like a dal compostion book !

This is a great case! I have had it on my ipad mini for 2 weeks, and I have gotten SO many compliments! Since I keep my ipad in my purse I wanted to have a case with a secure cover. The elastic holds tight and is not becoming loose or stretchy. If you fold the cover back you can secure it and use it in more of a tablet fashion. My 5yr old has dropped this twice and the ipad came loose a bit, but did not fly out. (I'm talking slipped from her hands, not threw on concrete.) As soon as I opened this package I could tell this was a quality case. I expect it to last a long time. I would definitely recommend this case to friends. Super cute, but not corny or childish!
